Film Directing Online Course:
Practical Approach: Forget long lists of rules! We will understand the reasons behind
every choice the director makes. We will analyze scenes together, learning from the best
masters of cinema. The student will put themselves to the test with shooting exercises,
which will then be reviewed by the teacher for optimal learning.
Who it’s for: This course is ideal for those taking their first steps into the world of directing
and want to understand its fundamentals, as well as for those who already have some
experience and want to consolidate their mastery of cinematic language.
Course Program:
∙ Shots and the motivations behind each take.
∙ Camera movements and the emotions they evoke in the viewer.
∙ A crucial aspect often overlooked: directing actors and how to establish an effective
and comfortable dialogue with the performers.
∙ The director’s toolkit and the key roles on set.
∙ Shooting exercises and review with the instructor.
Course details:
∙ Duration: 12 hours, with weekly online lessons of two hours each.
∙ Small groups (maximum 4/5 people) or individual lessons to ensure direct contact
with the teacher and personalized feedback on the students’ work.
