Online Screenwriting Course:
Practical Approach: We will carefully study all the principles needed to make any type of
narrative work, analyzing successful films and scenes and understanding where they work
(and where they could be improved). We will do concrete exercises and create the
structure of your short film together!
Who it’s for: This course is ideal for both those taking their first steps into the world of
writing and want to understand its fundamentals, as well as for those who already have
some minimal experience and want to consolidate their mastery of storytelling.
Course Program:
∙ Different types of plot (archplot, miniplot, etc.)
∙ The structure of any narrative
∙ The conflict that gives life to the story
∙ Character study: techniques to create real and memorable characters!
∙ What everyone would like to know how to do: creating an effective and unexpected
plot twist!
∙ Focus on the product that all novice filmmakers can create: the short film
∙ Practical exercises and creation of the structure of your short film!
Course details:
∙ Duration: 12 hours, with weekly online lessons of two hours each.
∙ Small groups (maximum 4/5 people) or individual lessons to ensure direct contact
with the teacher and personalized feedback on the students’ work.
